Thank you for choosing to engage with itsWoop Technologies LLC d/b/a DealerVantage ("DealerVantage”). We respect your privacy and we work hard in order to protect Subscriber Information (as defined below).

This statement is provided on behalf of DealerVantage and its affiliates (collectively "DV Group"), a list of affiliates may be found at the end of this privacy policy. Here, we would like to explain how we collect, share and use the information we obtain about you in the course of doing business. We also describe the options you have regarding your access to and the use of personal information, and how you can update and correct it.

Our Privacy Assurance

  • We do not sell Personal Information (as defined below) or any other information you share with us (together with Personal Information is referred to as “Subscriber Information”) to anyone.
  • We do not share Subscriber Information with anyone except the DV Group.
  • We require all persons or organizations that represent or assist us in the operations, maintenance, updates to the GarageShare Platform (“GS Platform”) and claims to keep your information confidential.
  • We require our employees to protect Subscriber Information and keep it confidential.

As you can see from our privacy assurance, protecting your Subscriber Information is important to us. In addition to the above practices, we use an array of physical, technical and administrative security measures that help us to safeguard your information. For instance, access to sensitive Personal Information including but not limited to Date of Birth (“DOB”) and payment information, is restricted to our employees, agents and others who use such information only as permitted by law, to comply with applicable local, state and federal law, and to provide you with products and services. Our privacy practices continue to apply to your Subscriber Information even after the termination of the Subscription Agreement. 

What Personal Information Do We Have and Where Do We Get It? 

We gather Personal Information from you and also obtained it from third party sources through insurance verification and/or insurance quotation process in which you and/or Subscriber are engaging, outside sources for business purposes, including carrying out the data population for GS Platform, responding to customer service requests, administering your account, and sending you newsletters and other service-related correspondence. Among the information we collect from a Subscriber may include Subscriber’s customer’s name, phone number, home and email addresses, driver's license number, DOB, marital status, family member information including household drivers’ information, expired and current insurance policies, and payment information ("Personal Information").  

In addition, DV Group gathers information through Internet activity, which may include, for example, your operating system, links you used to visit https://www.dealervantage.us,  https://www.woopinsuranceagency.com and  https://www.woopapp.io (the “Websites”) web pages you viewed while visiting our site or applications, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, and cookies. We use cookies, analytics and other similar tracking technologies to help:

  • Evaluate our marketing campaigns;
  • Analyze how customers use our website and applications;
  • Develop new services;
  • Know how many visitors have seen or clicked on our ads;

How We Use and Share Your Personal Information 

In the course of normal business activities, we use and share Subscription Information. We may provide this information to persons or organizations within and outside of DV Group. This would be done as required or permitted by law. For example, we may do this to:

  • Fulfill an activity, service or transaction you request;
  • Market our products;
  • Prevent fraud;
  • Comply with requests from regulatory and law enforcement authorities. In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We may also disclose your personal information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a lawful government request;
  • Participate in insurance support organizations;
  • Make it possible for companies that perform services on our behalf, such as marketing, credit/debit card processing, and communication services to do so;
  • Insurance companies that play a role in an insurance transaction with you;
  • Independent claims adjusters;
  • Enable a business or businesses to conduct actuarial or research studies; and
  • Comply with those who request information pursuant to a subpoena or court order.

We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The Internet and Your Information Security  

Our Websites provide information about us, our products, and the agencies and brokers that represent us. You may also perform some transactions on the Websites. This privacy policy applies to users of the Websites regardless of whether the user is a customer.

As true of most sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data.

Who Should Use Our Website? 

Our Websites are for business services and are not intended for children; we do not market any products or services to nor collect information from children under the age of sixteen. If you become aware that information is or has been submitted by or collected from a child under the age of sixteen, please immediately contact us directly at 888-621-2001.

What Security Procedures Do We Use to Guard Against the Loss, Misuse, Alteration, or Theft of Information While That Information Is Being Submitted to Agency Over the Internet?

To help ensure the security of your personal and financial information that you submit to this site (other than via an email message), we use security software to encrypt all sensitive personal information before and during its transmission through the Internet. We only allow information to be submitted for transmission if your browser is compatible with our security software. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If held in our databases, your information will be held in an encrypted form as well, and our data is only transferred to our insurance companies and other affiliated partners in encrypted form.

Unless explicitly stated that we are using the Company’s Secure E-mail, E-mail messages are not secure. Our security software does not, and cannot, encrypt regular email messages. E-mail messages traveling through the Internet are subject to viewing, alteration, and copying by potentially anyone on the Internet. You should exercise discretion with respect to the submission of any personal or financial information via email. Whose Privacy Policy Applies to Links and External Sites?

DV Group may provide links to other sites as a convenience to persons who visit our Websites. If you choose to use the services provided by those sites, you may be asked by those sites to provide certain personally identifiable information (some of which may be shared with DV Group).

Please be aware that DV Group is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our site and to read the privacy policies of every website that you visit, as the privacy policies of those sites may differ from ours. Our privacy policy applies solely to this website.

Changes to the Online Privacy Policy

Your Preference for Sharing Subscriber Information

Presently we do not share Subscriber information with anyone outside the DV Group though this is subject to change though we reserve the right to revise this policy in the future.
